Top 10 Destinations in Australia

New South Wales

Sydney is a vibrant, dynamic and accessible city waiting to be explored. Unless visitors to Sydney are specifically seeking out friends in outlying areas, most will have no real need to travel too far away from the central city area and the harbour. Most Sydney tourist attractions are either within the central business district, close to the CBD, or at points around the harbour. The exceptions are Bondi and Manly – surf beach suburbs situated south and north of Sydney Heads.

Uluru (Ayers Rock)

Rising from seemingly nowhere in the deep centre of Australia, Uluru/Ayers Rock is one of the world’s great natural wonders. If you are planning to explore & experience both the physical and cultural significance of this Australian icon, we are here to help you with your tour, car hire and accommodation needs.

Physically Beautiful
Most visitors would have seen photographs, or advertisements featuring Uluru, but nothing prepares you for the physical impact of this vast monolith. Its sheer immensity dwarfs everything around it. Uluru has acquired its reputation not just because it is such a unique landform, but also because of the effect the sun has on its colours and appearance. Sunrises and Sunsets cause changes to its colour from browns though oranges, reds to finally grey.

Spiritually Significant
A trip to Uluru is also about experiencing and understanding its cultural & spiritual significance. Both Uluru and Kata Tjuta have great cultural significance for the Anangu traditional landowners, Self Discover or take guided tours that inform about the local flora and fauna, bush foods and the Aboriginal Dream time stories.

Melbourne is set around the shores of Port Phillip Bay. The city itself, laid out in a large rectangle and boasting a lively and cosmopolitan pulse, sits on the northern banks of the Yarra River, about five kilometres from the bay.
Melbourne is a planned city: a tidy, balanced grid of neatly angled streets, but beneath this sense of everything in its place restraint lies a restless creative energy constantly pushing back at the city’s seeming conservatism. The CBD is made up of precincts – distinct enclaves each with its own flavour and charm. Some are just a lane or two, while others cover the banks of the Yarra River or a busy CBD street.

The island resort is welcoming visitors again after the completion of restoration and repair work necessitated by Tropical Cyclones Anthony and Yasi earlier in the year. Tasmania is Australia’s only island state. It is a heart-shaped island of lush green valleys, uncrowded towns and villages and still undeveloped coastlines.

Soak up history on Hobart’s riverfront cobblestone streets and the wind through the Coal Valley’s cool-climate wineries. Lose your breath at Wineglass Bay and discover shipwrecks and diamonds on Flinders Island. Walk over Cataract Gorge, a dramatic wilderness in the heart of Launceston, or head to the World Heritage-listed wilderness that makes up 20 per cent of the island. See your face in Dove Lake and trek the Overland Track in Cradle-Mountain-Lake St Clair National Park, wander through dark Gondwanan rainforest Southwest National Park and watch two wild rivers tumble through valleys as one in Franklin-Gordon Wild Rivers National Park. As well as rugged and ancient natural beauty, Tasmania has a thriving creative culture, a rich history of convicts, pioneers, miners and whalers and fabulous food and wine.
